But the pretense of reality and effort of maintaining continuity of the narrative started to break down when the site’s owners introduced their sister site “Brutal Tops” in 2010. While Brutal Tops is promising on their tour that the motivation for their doms is “not a character they are merely playing. The same week Derek made his debut on Brutal Tops (Dec 2, 2011), he was featured as “Charlie” on another affiliated site “CMNM.net” and this was merely three weeks after he made is debut as a straight slave “Bryan” on Straight Hell. The same actor returns to Straight Hell this week as Derek to top Billy, mere weeks after they both appeared as tops on BrutalTops.com in the same scene.

Most of this would be forgivable, if not for the promises of authenticity on both sites. Brutal Tops goes so far as to deride other sites for employing actors who are “Models booked for the day who could easily switch roles and no one would be any the wiser. The pay cheque is their motivation.” But do they expect us to overlook the exact same thing on their sites?
